GB Miniature Sheets

British Miniature Sheets (British Souvenir Sheets)

Miniature Sheets (MS, or Minisheets) are small sheets, often approximately A5/A6 size, that feature one or more stamps with a large decorative border attached.

Whereas regular postage stamps are printed in large sheets of 100 or more of the same design, Miniature Sheets allow the design of the stamp to form part of a larger overall design covering the whole sheet, forming intricate and attractive artworks to commemorate special occasions. In many cases, the large border allows for additional images or text related to the commemorative topic.

MS are typically issued for philatelists rather than for postal purposes, meaning they are often printed in limited quantities, making many of them rare and sought after collectibles.

The first GB Miniature Sheet (MS1058) was issued in 1978, commemorating both Historical Buildings and the 1980 London Stamp Exhibition. In 2007 Royal Mail issued Britain's first self-adhesive Miniature Sheet (MS2786) marking the Royal Diamond Wedding.

Below you will find all British Minisheets listed in chronological order. There is also the option to shop directly by year set. NOTE - the price of year sets include a discount compared to purchasing individual Miniature Sheets.
