The next GB commemorative stamp issue
‘Great Britons’ will be issued on the 16th April 2013 continuing the series of stamps issues depicting famous personalities. The Royal Mail honours another selection of distinguished individuals from the realms of sport, journalism, architecture, politics and the arts. With Norman Parkinson, Vivien Leigh Peter Cushing Elizabeth David, Benjamin Britten Bill Shankly, Mary Leakey, Richard Dimbley and the politicians David Lloyd George and John Archer. The stamps will be issued in two sheets of 25&50 with se-tenant designs per sheet, enabling customers to buy a vertical strip of five of any individual.

Basildon Stamp Society fair & exhibition at the James Hornsby High school, Laindon, Essex, SS15 5NX on 27th April.
Enfield Philatelic Society fair at St Luke’s Hall, Morley Hill on 27th April.
